‘Install additional power generators at key buildings’

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, ordered real estate developers and companies developing touristic, commercial and cultural projects to install additional power generators to ensure the seamless uninterrupted power supply in their developments.
His Highness’ decision was made during his visit to Dubai Water and Electricity Authority (DEWA) headquarters, where he was briefed about Monday’s power outage in Dubai Mall.
Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Dubai Crown Prince H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and H.H. Sheikh Mansour
bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum.
Director- General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai Khalifa Saeed Suleiman was also present during the visit.
