Empower awarded Dubai Chamber CSR label

Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation, Empower, has been awarded the Dubai Chamber CSR label for the third consecutive year, in recognition of the company’s social initiatives.
Speaking on the occasion, Ahmed bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, said, “We are very pleased to be awarded this prestigious label for the third consecutive year. It recognises our efforts to create a positive impact on our society which helps in fulfilling our leadership’s vision to achieve sustainable development and green economy by saving natural resources, preserving energy and water and contributing to the well-being of society.”
“Empower’s agenda embraces many social initiatives that target customers, employees and the community. The company is also keen to participate in social activities of different authorities and corporate bodies,” Bin Shafar said.
All of these activities are part of Empower’s social policy which aims to contribute to Dubai Plan 2021 and UAE Energy Strategy 2050. These activities focus on saving energy and raising customer awareness of the importance of energy efficiency, while advising customers on the importance of green energy,” added Bin Shafar.
