The UAE Ministry of Education signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), with Expo Center Sharjah on Monday, ahead of the 13th International Education Show, to be held from February 15-17. The event also coincides with the 19th National Career Exhibition.
The MoU, signed by Marwan Ahmad Al Sawaleh, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Education for Academic Affairs, and Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Center Sharjah, aims to introduce students to academic and professional opportunities across the UAE. Both parties will work on raising the awareness of students and enabling them to take sound academic decisions, which will pave the road for a professional future.
The deal also seeks to link families and guardians to higher education institutions so that they can be informed about educational offerings and opportunities in the country. Additionally, the MoU will help foster the relation between the Ministry of Education and other education-related institutions in the UAE.
