His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Tuesday extended condolences to the family of martyr Mohammed Rashid Al Dhanhani, who fell while participating in Operation Restoring Hope, being conducted by the Saudi-led Arab coalition in Yemen.
During a visit to the mourning majlis in Qadfa’a area, he expressed his sympathies to the martyr’s family and prayed to Allah Almighty to bless his soul with mercy in Paradise and bless and grant patience and solace to his family.
In a friendly chat with the martyr’s relatives, Sheikh Mohamed stressed that Emiratis show strength and heroism during times of calamity and bravely counter challenges in action and sacrifice their lives for their country.
“The leaders and people of the UAE take pride in their heroes who are well known for their sacrifices and bravery. The country is lucky that it has young people who prove to be reliable, effective, generous and able to overcome challenges. Our future, God Willing, will be bright thanks to our young men and women who embody the noblest examples of work, dedication and sacrifice for the country,” the crown price of Abu Dhabi said.
Sheikh Mohamed was accompanied by H.H. Major-General Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Chairman of the State Security Department, H.H. Sheikh Diab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary at the Court of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince.
