The Corporate Communication Department of Dubai Customs, DC, launched a new project aiming to promote the culture of reading and research amongst the DC community.
The “Reading is Life” project will be implemented by establishing an online library accessible to all booklovers via Dubai Customs’ intranet website. Employees can explore detailed summaries of selected Arabic and international books in many scientific and practical areas.
The project is in line with the UAE Year of Reading initiative announced by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Arab Reading Challenge launched by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The DC project’s first phase is being implemented in collaboration with the Mohammed bin Rashid Foundation.
