ERC opens two schools in Lahij Governorate, Yemen

The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) has opened two schools in Tuban District in Lahij Governorate, Yemen, as part of the nine schools being revamped by the authority in the first phase.
The ERC office also presented 200 blackboards, as part of its ongoing support for the educational process in Yemen and its keenness to provide appropriate facilities for students to enable them to study in a safe and secure environment.
Wadah Alhalmi, the Deputy Governor of Lahij Governorate, expressed happiness at the opening the three schools funded by the ERC.
He also extended thanks to the UAE, represented in the ERC, for its continued support to the Yemeni people in all domains.
The principals of the revamped schools also extended thanks and appreciation to the UAE and the Arab Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen for their support to reconstruct the liberated cities and the acts of bravery that helped achieve victory.
