Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia, organiser of Beautyworld Riyadh, the Kingdom’s leading and most influential beauty event, has announced the postponement of the upcoming edition. Originally scheduled to take place from 18-20 May 2026, the event will now focus on its return to the Kingdom in 2027.
Following recent developments in the region and an ongoing assessment of their implications, the event’s organisers determined that rescheduling the show to 2027 would help maintain its international scale, high quality participation, and strong commercial value, while placing the safety, wellbeing, and trust of exhibitors, sponsors, partners, and staff at the forefront.
Messe Frankfurt Saudi Arabia reinforces its commitment to the sustained growth of its portfolio of events in the country, including building the right conditions for a high-quality event experience where industry leaders can connect, access market opportunities, strengthen business networks, source new products, and exchange knowledge. Beautyworld Riyadh continues to support the rapid expansion of Saudi Arabia’s beauty industry in line with Vision 2030.
Teresa Heitor, Portfolio Director of Consumer Goods at Messe Frankfurt Middle East, said: “This decision follows extensive consultation with our stakeholders across the market and a careful assessment of the current operating environment. Our priority is to ensure we bring the industry together in a way that ensures meaningful engagement, strong business outcomes, and a high-calibre event experience for our exhibitors, partners, speakers, and wider community.”
Flyn Roberts, Chief Commercial Officer, MFME, added “This was a measured decision, and we are confident it is the right step to protect the positioning and long-term value of the event, while prioritising all stakeholders who have long supported our platform.”
