Waleed Al Zarooni,  W Capital  CEO, praised the launch of the national campaign “The Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World” stressing that it represents a strategic step towards consolidating the UAE’s position as a global hub for entrepreneurship and a strong driver of vital economic sectors, most notably the real estate sector.
Al Zarooni emphasized that the campaign, will provide higher prospects for Emirati youth to enter the job market through entrepreneurship. It will also directly contribute to stimulating the real estate market by encouraging the establishment of start-ups and providing an incubator environment for new projects that require commercial and residential space.
“The real estate sector will be one of the biggest beneficiaries of this ambitious campaign. “We need to support the culture of real estate entrepreneurship, so that young Emiratis are not just investors, but leaders of sustainable real estate projects that keep pace with market developments and benefit from the advanced infrastructure and stimulating legislation that the country enjoys,” he added.
