ABU DHABI / GULF TIME
In a significant move towards sustainability, Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi has officially launched its in-house water bottling plant, which has been approved by the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA).
Opened in January 2025, the new bottling room is set to eliminate 1,097,328 single-use plastic bottles per year from the hotel’s operations.
The water bottling process utilises advanced Reverse Osmosis (RO) Filtration Technology, ensuring that the water produced meets the stringent standards set by the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (ADQCC). This guarantees high-quality, safe, and healthy water while minimising the environmental footprint.
This milestone highlights the hotel’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, resource conservation, and integrating eco-friendly practices across all its operations for a greener future.
