The Arab Water Council and dmg events will host the 6th Arab Water Forum from 16th to 18th September at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), in collaboration with the League of Arab States, the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, and the Egyptian Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation.
The triennial event has established itself as a key platform for fostering partnerships and promoting collaborative action towards a water-resilient future.
This edition will feature an international exhibition and over 17 technical sessions, with keynotes, panels, and case studies focusing on policies, strategies, and solutions for achieving water security in the Arab region.
Notable speakers include Mahmoud Abu-Zeid, President of the Arab Water Council, Hani Sewilam, Egypt’s Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Aun Dheyab Abdulla, Iraq’s Minister of Water Resources, and Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
Prof Mahmoud Abu-Zeid said that the Arab Water Forum is a vital platform for addressing the pressing issue of water scarcity in the region, with a focus on finding sustainable solutions for future generations.
The Forum will also explore topics such as transboundary water management, climate change, water security, and the water-energy-food-ecosystems nexus.
More than 60 global exhibitors will showcase cutting-edge technologies and projects in desalination, storage, distribution, wastewater treatment, and water conservation.
