Omar Obaid Alshamsi presented his credentials to Monsignor Joan-Enric Vives i Sicília, Episcopal Co-Prince of the Principality of Andorra, as non-resident ambassador to Andorra, during a ceremony held at the Episcopal Palace of La Seu d’Urgell in Lleida province.
Alshamsi conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to Mons.
Vives i Sicília, along with their wishes for further development and prosperity for the government and people of the Principality of Andorra.
Furthermore, Alshamsi expressed his pride in representing the UAE in the Principality of Andorra, affirming the UAE’s keenness to enhance cooperation across various sectors, aiming to strengthen ties between the two nations.
For his part, Mons. Vives i Sicília conveyed his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and expressed his wishes for further development and growth for the government and people of the UAE.
Mons. Vives i Sicília wished the Ambassador success in his work to enhance bilateral relations in various fields between the UAE and the Principality of Andorra, stressing his country’s readiness to provide all possible support to facilitate his duties.
