The Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM), through the City Planning Sector – Environment, Health and Safety Department, organised the Golden Helmet Award Ceremony to honour the third session’s award winners from companies operating in the building and construction sector, including contractors and consultants within the municipality’s geographical scope. The ceremony, held in the presence of Saif Badr Al Qubaisi, Director-General of ADM, witnessed the honouring of the companies that won the award categories and met the relevant criteria. The Golden Helmet Award aims to foster competition among participants, leading to the improvement and development of health and safety practices within the construction sector. It also seeks to strengthen partnerships with the private sector and promote awareness and education in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), all to reduce occupational incidents, injuries, and property losses.
Additionally, it encourages construction companies to prioritise commitment, creativity, and innovation in achieving the highest levels of compliance with EHS laws and regulations, ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment for all. The award serves as a testament to ADM’s unwavering commitment to leading the implementation of best practices in occupational health and safety within the construction sector.
