The “Yiyang” yacht Activity -Anhua dark tea and Yiyang agricultural products promotion and exhibition was held recently in Dubai Bay, which also opened the “Yiyang Meets the Middle East Economic and Trade Exchange Week”. Xiong Wei, mayor of Yiyang Municipal People’s Government in Hunan Province, announced the launch of the economic and trade exchange week.
Since establishing diplomatic relations nearly 30 years ago, the UAE has become one of the Middle Eastern countries with deep cooperation in a wide range and many concrete cooperation results with China. The friendly and cooperative relations between China and the League of Arab States have been deepened, ushering in a golden period of cooperation and development. In recent years, Yiyang City of Hunan Province has actively implemented the strategy of “To open to strengthening the city”, and the cooperation and exchanges with the government and enterprises in the UAE have been deepened. Economic and trade cooperation has developed rapidly. In March last year, Yiyang participated in the Dubai World Expo and hosted a series of Yiyang City Day activities, with the theme of “Dubai meets beautiful Yiyang”, showing the unique charm of “Yiyang, a city of natural beauty” to the world, Anhua dark tea, Yuanjiang yacht and featured industrial enterprises that have signed more than $60 million with Dubai enterprises and achieved fruitful cooperation results. Among them, the yachts from Yiyang will be delivered to Dubai.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road initiative. It is also a crucial year for enhancing foreign trade and integrating into the international cycle after the epidemic. The trip of the Yiyang economic and trade delegation “YiyangMeets the Middle East” after the epidemic was a cooperation trip, economic and trade trip. It was also a development trip that actively responded to the initiative of the government, the response to the robust needs of enterprises and the practical results of the activity with the theme of “Hunan meets Dubai”.
During the activity, Yiyang and Middle East yacht enterprises, Yiyang agricultural products and UAE supermarket enterprises signed cooperation agreements. Hunan Haiquan Yacht Co Ltd and Dubai Yacht Club signed a preliminary cooperation intention through this conference.
Projected export of 19 yachts, and the estimated total turnover reached $6 million. Among them, there are 11 62-foot yachts and eight yachts of other sizes. 6 of the 62-foot yachts have been delivered, and the remaining five will be sent to Dubai after completion of production. In comparison, the remaining eight yachts of other sizes have already been signed to cooperate with the order.
