Sheikh Saif honours winners of ‘Minister of Interior’s Award for Excellence’ in its 6th edition

HH Lt General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, bestowed honours upon the recipients of the “Minister of Interior’s Award for Excellence” during its sixth edition, during a ceremony that took place in Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi.
The event commenced with the national anthem and the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, delivered by a recipient of the Holy Quran Tahbeer and its Sciences Award, followed by a video around excellence, the remarkable achievements of the UAE, and its profound march towards civilisation.
The programme also featured a film that traced the path of excellence and leadership within the Ministry of Interior.
Subsequently, Sheikh Saif recognised the winners across various categories within the “Minister of Interior Award for Excellence” in its sixth edition. These categories encompassed leaders, sectors, departments, work teams, officers, and personnel.
The Minister received recognition under the external community service category, which extends to include community members who have made notable contributions to society, particularly in the fields of policing and the promotion of security and community protection.
Among the esteemed and honoured individuals were Dhirar Belhoul Al Falasi, nominated by Dubai Police General HQs; Dr Mahra Al Malik, nominated by Ras Al Khaimah Police General HQs; Dr. Suhail Rahmat Al Husseini, nominated by Sharjah Police General HQs; and Nabila Moamed bin Hariz, nominated by Abu Dhabi Police General HQs.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, Lt General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed honoured the Dubai Civil Defense smart platform team, in appreciation of their role in investing in modern technical applications and artificial intelligence in enhancing preparedness and readiness.
The award consists of a number of institutional, functional and external categories. The committees have worked since the launch of the first phase of the award, defining it and its requirements, and preparing the nomination files to start receiving the files and requests of the participants in the conditional job awards and work teams, starting the evaluation process, then receiving the files of the institutional awards, and then evaluation and arbitration.
