SGH Sharjah saves 43-year-old comatose heart-attack patient

The Saudi German (SGH Sharjah) hospital medical staff saved a 43 year old young man of an Arab nationality when he was admitted to the emergency section at SGH Sharjah in a difficult condition as he was suffering from severe pain in the abdomen and chest areas due to exhaustion of heart muscle and failure of its function resulted in no pulse and heart palpitation while the emergency physicians were inspecting the patient to draw the samples required for the proper diagnosis. Soon, the patient felt dizzy and vomiting and he fell unconscious.
The medical team immediately started a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), inserted a respiratory tube in the trachea (windpipe) to supply him with oxygen while continued massaging the heart muscle. It was a must to use the electrocardiogram. They continued their attempt for 45 minutes until weak heart palpitation was resumed then the pulses became normal. The patient was placed on the ventilator and moved to the intensive care department where the medical team performed all that was required to preserve his life by giving the patient the medication required for the activation of consciousness degree and strengthen the muscles.
By all standards, it was a miracle that the heart of that young man returned to life by the will of Almighty Allah then thanks to the emergency and intensive care staff of the Saudi German Hospital in Sharjah.
