A Federal National Council (FNC), delegation has reached China for an official working visit. The UAE contingent, headed by Dr Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the FNC, will hold discussions with various Chinese officials and representatives until November 10.
Dr Al Qubaisi said that the purpose of the visit is part of the FNC’s objective to enhance joint parliamentary cooperation, including legislative matters as well as the organisation of international forums, and the critical role parliamentarians play in the global fight against terrorism and extremism.
The Council, she added, continues to strengthen governmental relations via official visits with its Chinese counterpart, reflecting extensive strategic ties between two countries, founded on mutual respect and trust.
