‘UAE flag embodies loyalty to homeland’

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister for Tolerance, has said that the UAE flag represents loyalty and love for the country and supports all its objectives and aspirations.
In a statement to mark the UAE’s Flag Day on Thursday, Sheikh Nahyan said, “It is an honour for all of us to celebrate the day with pride, when the founding father, late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, hoisted the national flag to announce the establishment of the UAE.”
“We also feel proud of the role played by late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces; and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.”
