UAE, Egypt mull cooperation in global competitiveness

A delegation representing the Ministry of Planning, Follow-up and Administrative Reformation, Egypt, visited on Wednesday the headquarters of the UAE Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority, FCSA, Dubai, as part of the strategic partnership between the two to enhance the government performance in Egypt.
The partnership between the two covers areas of excellent performance, government capabilities and accelerators, smart services and global competitiveness.
Malik Ridhwan Al Madani, Director of Competitiveness Strategies Department of FCSA, and a number of its officials discussed with the visiting delegation means of cooperation in enhancing the global competitiveness of the two sides with focus on the Doing Business report of the World Bank.
Al Madani stressed that CSA’s willingness to share its experience with its partners in areas of enhancing competitiveness, strategic statistics systems and sustainable development.
He also briefed the Egyptian side on FCSA’s strategy, objectives and responsibilities.
Members of the visiting group shed light on the ministry’s responsibilities and plans.
