The UAE and Bahrain on Tuesday discussed ways of accelerating knowledge transfer and exchange of expertise between the two countries in areas of scientific research.
This came during a meeting between His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Dr Sheikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Under-Secretary for International Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies, currently visiting the country.
The meeting, which occurred at HH Sheikh Mansour’s office at the Presidential Palace, touched on the main tasks and activities performed by the Bahraini centre and its efforts in promoting scientific research.
Attending the meeting were Mubarak Rashed Al Mansouri, Governor of the UAE Central Bank, and Sultan Al Hamiri, Under-Secretary for the Support Services Sector at the Ministry of Presidential
Affairs.
