The Emirates Post Group (EPG) announced the release of a new commemorative stamp with a face value of AED 3 for the Abu Dhabi Tour 2018.
Printed by Oriental Press, Bahrain and designed by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the stamp is being issued in souvenir sheets with eight stamps, with a print run of 25,000. 1000 First Day Covers are being issued at a price of AED 4.
The copies will be available at the EPAEX Dubai stamp exhibition, being held at Dragon Mall 2 and organised by the Emirates Philatelic Association. The exhibition runs from March 6-10. Founded in 1996, the EPA seeks to encourage and develop the hobby of philately in the Emirates, to build relations with Arab and foreign clubs and to take part in international exhibitions, to promote knowledge of the UAE’s stamp history.
