HH Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Women Establishment (DWE) and wife of HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, has announced the second edition of The Innovative Leaders Programme in collaboration with the prestigious Ashridge-Hult International Business School.
The programme, which is being held in the United Kingdom until April 28, is designed to help Emirati women enhance their leadership and management skills, spearhead progress within their organisations and contribute effectively to the UAE’s ongoing development.
Sheikha Manal said: “The programme is in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, who said that the UAE leadership prioritises youth development, and encourages them to achieve the highest levels of innovation and creativity, so the UAE can achieve the highest international ranks across various sectors.”
Sheikha Manal commended the positive response from both public and private sector organisations, highlighting the calibre of employees participating this year. She added that the programme has been developed since last year to maximise value for participants and further support their contribution to shaping the future of the UAE.
Mona Al Marri, Chairperson of the Board of Dubai Women Establishment, said that hosting the second Innovative Leaders Programme follows the remarkable success of the inaugural edition last year, for both participants and their organisations.
She added that this advanced programme supports the wise leadership’s goal to embed a culture of innovation within the workplace, which will revolutionise the future. The programme aims to foster the next generation of female leaders, ensuring they have the tools required to face any possible challenges. HE also highlighted the importance of enhancing the skills and supporting the long-term development of women across all sectors to help them attain unparalleled achievements, through training and high quality programs.
Sixteen Emirati female leaders from the public and private sectors in the UAE will participate in the second edition of this advanced training programme. It will feature workshops and interactive sessions led by experts, innovators and Ashridge-Hult faculty members, to explore planning for future challenges, as well as visits to innovative global organisations, to learn about the latest leadership methods which contributed to their success.
The Innovative Leaders Programme was established as part of a MoU agreement signed between Dubai Women Establishment and Ashridge-Hult International Business School in March 2017.
