Sharjah Youth, an affiliate of Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, organized the “Be a businessman 2†miniature diploma program, which targeted 16 of youth members at Sharjah youth and was presented by the consultant Hazza Ibrahiam Al Mansoori.
The aim of this program is to raise the youth’s awareness on the importance of the industrial sector and teaching them the basics of creating successful small projects and investments, gain a diverse experience in manufacturing products and acquiring smart marketing skills.
Youth program participants learned all about supply through their visits to different leading factories in UAE. During their visit to Emirates Macaroni Factory they learned how pasta is manufactured, Whereas at Trofina Foods Middle East Factory, they learned about best practices in the packing sector.
During their visit to Ardeco Factory the youth explored the stages of furniture manufacturing and listened to a highly inspiring story by Sheikh Ali Abdullah Al Mualla, the owner of the Factory. In addition, the youth visited Patchi Group and learned the stages of creating chocolate and presenting it in creative ways.
The Youth enjoyed hearing about success stories and advices about entrepreneurship from inspiring entrepreneurs during their visit to the Fresh Fruits Company. They learned the basics of importing fruits in a specialized training course. Moreover, the youth visited two perfume companies “Hind AL Oud†and “ALNabeel Perfumes†and learned different ways of production lines, mixing perfumes, marketing for them and distributing them.
The youth Obaid Adel Al Bah, one of the participants mentioned that he learned a lot during these field visits to the well-known factories in UAE, and enjoyed learning the skills of creating a successful project. In addition, a fellow youth, Ali Darwish expressed his happiness to have had the opportunity to listen to success stories of entrepreneurs.
