SDPW launches ‘We are Responsible’ campaign

The Sharjah Directorate of Public Works (SDPW) announced the launch of the first phase of the ‘We are Responsible’ campaign, which included sterilising the buildings of the department in
cooperation with Bee’ah.
The campaign includes sterilising offices, surfaces, tools, devices, and various equipment, facilities and services in the various branches of the department, in addition to distributing tools protection and personal sterilisers to workers.
Also, a committee was formed to follow up the periodic disinfection work and the requirements of the work teams during this phase, in addition to providing an electronic platform to provide services to the customers, and providing all necessary equipment and systems for service providers.
Chairman of SDPW Ali bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi confirmed that the department continues its efforts in sterilisation operations with partners to limit the spread of Coronavirus and maintain the safety and health of community members.
He revealed that the authority provided the technical support necessary to complete the work remotely to the department’s employees concerned with office work, and provide the technological environment that ensures interactivity and speed of completion for the department’s customers.
Al Suwaidi pointed out that the Department’s website allows auditors to submit applications electronically, using modern technology and methods of remote communication.
