Hira Industries LLC, which was established in 1980, is currently managing eight factories in three different countries, occupying two million square feet and employing over 1000 employees. Company’s motto is to sustain well while ensuring speedy growth. The company plans to increase number of products as well as number of application such as proofing materials or roof insulation. Developing this kind of vision would not be possible without two type of materials; crossed linked polyolefin foam and NBR rubber. Ongoing efforts make company stronger and more flexible in the region.
MD of the company Manish Hiranandani’s parents moved to the UAE in 1975. After completing his high school in Dubai, he then headed to pursue his undergraduate degree from the prestigious Northeastern University in Boston, where he majored in International Business and Marketing. The business which primarily dealt in distribution of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air

conditioning) products was founded by his father Ramesh
Hiranandani in year 1980. It has come a long way to take advantage of the construction growth in the UAE in the mid-1980s and early 1990s. However, by the year 2000, the construction industry was in a challenging situation, with competition increasing and margins depleting.
“With the wealth of construction projects carried out in the region, the demand for Aerofoam product is tremendous and we are seeing rapid growth year on year. Events such as Dubai’s Expo 2020 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar have further driven the industry. As such our move to set up a new facility is strategically planned,” said Manish Hira, Managing Director of Hira Industries
The highly competitive trading environment led to a new bold strategy to initiate manufacturing similar products; in 2002, the first manufacturing set was implemented.
This led to starting with his first basic production set up in Al Quoz industrial area in Dubai, he then found himself to be in the right place at the right time. Dubai then started a major construction drive on the news of the freehold law for expatriates. Expatriates could now own properties in selected areas of the emirate. The new law attracted a mass of FDI into the Dubai property market from all over the world, which created the region’s largest construction boom. After the success of the first factory, and looking at the bold construction
vision of Dubai, the company decided to expand further in new manufacturing initiatives. Realising that larger manufacturing investments, needed access to more markets. Manish decided to expand the sales initiatives geographically in the Middle-East and started the sales offices in Saudi, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait.
Recently, the company launched a new manufacturing facility in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The state-of-the-art facility launched in Al Ghail, Ras Al Khaimah, is spread over 125,000 sq feet and employs 150 skilled and highly trained staff. The one-of-a-kind manufacturing facility will produce and export Aerofoam technical foam worldwide. Technical foams used for insulation is over a US$300 million industry in the Middle East where Aerofoam will soon play a major role after the expansion. Due to the region’s sustained growth, particular in the UAE, the company was driven to expand its production capabilities culminating with the launch of the new facility.
With emerging new technologies, there is an impact on reduction of energy consumption. The outlook towards the

environmental, social and economic concerns has encouraged leading manufacturers to develop and manufacture energy efficient products. Hira Industries has been a part of this change. The company has been rewarded recently ‘Climate Control Award, HVAC – accessories supplier of the year’ due to its quality of the products and services.
Currently, Hira Industries is also involved in manufacturing air conditioning products, fixing systems, rubber products and technical insulation products. Company has offices in the Middle-East, India, Australia, Sri Lanka and South East Asia.
