Ladybird Early Learning Centre is set to change the face of pre-school education in Dubai when it opens its doors to little learners aged from 6 months to 5 years-old in July 2016.
Located within Jumeirah Village Circle, the warm and welcoming purpose-built centre boasts
state-of-the-art, environmentally-friendly facilities, and will follow the UK’s Early Years Foundation stage (EYFS) curriculum in a Montessori setting. A low student-to-teacher ratio ensures children will enjoy an enriching and well-balanced programme of activities covering learning areas such as personal, social, emotional and creative development, communication, language, literacy, problem-solving, reasoning and numeracy.
Each of the 15 classrooms is purposefully designed in an open-plan style and equipped with the latest educational equipment. Additional facilities include a well-stocked library, spacious indoor and outdoor play areas, a bike track, sensory garden, smart boards and customised water play, along with art and music activities and a language lab offering Arabic, French and Mandarin Chinese. There will be exclusive classrooms and play areas for babies and toddlers including a specially designed sensory sleep room for babies with the entire 24,000 square-foot building occupying only the ground floor for heighted safety. Enhanced security features include an automated attendance system, access cards for parents and intercom in all classrooms.
