A Korean delegation has visited the Special Tasks Department of the General Directorate of Guards and Special Tasks at the Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) General Headquarters.
The visit came within the framework of training and advisory cooperation between the ADP and Korean Police, which utilises exchanges of information and experience, as well as field training sessions, to become better acquainted with experience and practices that suit the needs of both countries.
During a meeting held in his office with the delegation, Colonel Matar Musbah Al Dhaheri, Acting Head of the Special Tasks Department, explained that the visit falls within an agenda of enhancing joint cooperation and exchange of training and academic experience, identifying methods of dealing with major events, ceremonies, crises and disasters, and implementing security practices in these situations, according to the highest international standards.

The delegation also reviewed field training plans, the organisation process for curricula and courses, including their implementation and follow-up, and methods of evaluating the results.
