Ninety-seven percent of the companies who participated in the previous edition of the International Franchise Exhibition (IFE) are returning for the exhibition’s sixth edition, demonstrating the event’s seminal role within the region and internationally. Organised by Abu Dhabi Chamber, the exhibition is taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec) from October 16-17.
The sixth edition of the exhibition will feature numerous major international brands, companies, and renowned experts with 150 exhibitors from ten different sectors expected to attend the event, alongside more than 3,600 visitors from 16 countries.
The exhibition provides participants with a world-class platform to showcase their offerings and also represents a vital networking opportunity for investors, looking to expand their businesses locally and globally.
Throughout the course of the event, local and global investors will be provided with insights about trends and investment opportunities in the franchising sector, ultimately expanding their vision and knowledge of new opportunities by facilitating interactions with companies in various local and international markets.
The IFE will showcase the latest innovative and unique concepts for entrepreneurs and SMEs and represents an opportunity to interact with international franchising experts to discuss methods of developing a presence in the Middle East and internationally. HE Mohamed Helal Al Muhairi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber, said: “Current indicators suggest that the sixth edition of the International Franchise Exhibition will be immensely successful, even when compared to previous years. We are confident in our objective of establishing the exhibition as one of the most important franchising events in the region.”
“The exhibition sheds light on special opportunities for foreign and local companies and SMEs in the field of franchising. It aims to expand the businesses and investments of participants, and to support entrepreneurs participating in this vital field, in line with the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 and our sustainable economic development objectives,” added HE Al Muhairi.
“Ninety-two percent of participants from previous editions of the International Franchise Exhibition described the turnout as ‘excellent,’ and we believe that speaks strongly to the events position as a focal point that brings together the largest international and local brands and companies with numerous visitors, investors and those interested
in the franchising sector,” concluded HE Al Muhairi.
A series of exclusive educational workshops for visitors will be held on the sidelines of the IFE on October 16-17, giving participants the opportunity to learn from and engage with some of the sectors most influential leaders and experts. The workshops are designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed within the world of franchising.
In addition, the IFE enables local and international companies to learn about opportunities in various sectors including tourism, hospitality, commerce, health, education, food and beverages, retail, and more. The event’s management also provides a suitable business environment for holding meetings and sessions, providing spaces for exhibitors, visitors and delegates to meet and conduct business meetings.
