The Sharjah International Government Communication Centre (IGCC), a subsidiary of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), will host an interactive media gathering on March 4, to reveal the agenda of the eighth edition of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2019) which will be held on March 20-21.
The media gathering will be held at Al Majaz Amphitheatre, in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Media Council (SMC); HE Tariq Saeed Allay, Director of SGMB; and Jawaher Al Naqbi, Manager of IGCC. The event will reveal IGCF 2019’s key panel topics and discuss the central themes of the interactive sessions and workshops, which will see participation from renowned local and international communication experts.
IGCC invites all media representatives, along with government communication units at various institutions, and all interested parties to attend the interactive gathering, where development issues, social responsibility, rules of behaviour change, ethics and regulations, and institutional frameworks will be discussed.
Organised at Expo Centre Sharjah, the eighth edition of IGCF will be held under the theme ‘Behavioural Change towards Human Development’ and is set to be one of its most specialised yet. It will explore topics that will assess the key role of government communication in promoting positive behaviour around issues of national interest.
