Habib Bank Limited ( HBL ) UAE has opened its new Abu Dhabi Main Branch at the Landmark Tower on Corniche Road in Abu Dhabi. The branch was inaugurated by H.E. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Mr. Sultan Ali Allana, Chairman of HBL , Mr. Mubashar Maqbool, Country Manager – UAE, and Mr. Naveed Asghar, Chief Marketing Officer, HBL , along with other dignitaries from the Emirates.
Speaking on the occasion of inauguration, H.E. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, said, “It is encouraging to see HBL opening branches at vibrant and dynamic locations in the capital of UAE. With innovation and digital channels, diverse range of products and banking solutions, the future role of the branch and service centers is likely to expand in the UAE. We wish HBL success in their future plans in the UAE, especially for the Retail and Small Business segments, which are of great importance from cultural and social development of the country.”
HBL was one of the first international banks to launch operations in the United Arab Emirates, in 1967. “Since HBL opened in the UAE, we have been actively contributing to the country’s economic progress through a number of initiatives, and we feel we now provide a wealth of services to our clients across the country, which we will continue to develop going forward. There are several new products and services in the pipeline for 2016 and beyond,” explained Mr. Sultan Ali Allana, Chairman of HBL.
