‘Happiness without Borders’ initiative launched

DUBAI / Emirates Business

Chief Happiness and Positivity Officers from various government agencies launched the ‘Happiness without Borders’ initiative in an effort to establish happiness and positivity as a lifestyle and a cultural trait in the UAE.
The idea is for Chief Happiness and Positivity Officers to offer free counsel to government and private institutions, where they share the experience and best practices they learned at the training sessions organised by the National Happiness and Positivity Programme. This provides guidance and support for these institutions as they go about establishing positive work environments that ensure the happiness of employees, as well as customer satisfaction.
“The ‘Happiness without Borders’ initiative follows the UAE’s general trajectory, which prioritises education and training to empower the national workforce and involve them in government programmes,” said Her Excellency Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Happiness.
“The initiative also bears testament to the success of the training programme for Chief Happiness and Positivity Officers, whose role was always intended to go beyond their respective organisations to target society as a whole.”
The Minister of State applauded the Chief Happiness and Positivity Officers who developed the initiative.
