The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) unveiled the 2020 results of the Global Knowledge Index (GKI) during the press conference that took place in Dubai and streamed globally.
The UAE’s results in the Global Knowledge Index 2020 reflect the determination and efforts of experts, decision
makers, and various stakeholders across the country. The UAE held on to its spot among the global top 20, moving up three ranks to come in 15th.
It also maintained its position as the second-best in the world in terms of economy for the fourth year running, and came in 10th globally for pre-university education, and first in five sectoral indexes, sub-indexes, and variables.
