Foreigners buys shares worth AED726.2 mn on DFM

Foreign investors purchased AED726.2 million worth of shares on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and sold AED664.4 million over the week, DFM said on Thursday. Net foreign investment on the market reached AED61.8 million as aggregate buy.
Value of shares bought by foreigner investors comprised 48.1 percent of the total value of stocks traded during the last five days, while value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period represented 44 percent of stocks traded during the period, a DFM press release said on the market activities for the current week.
The value of stocks bought by institutional investors reached AED504.1 million comprising 33.4 percent of the total value of stocks traded. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached AED501.7 million which constitutes 33.2 percent of the total value of stocks traded during the week.
Net institutional investment on the market stood at AED2.4 million during the period, as aggregate buy.
