The ‘Sustenance of Tolerance initiative’, which aims to provide Ramadan foodstuff (Meer) to underprivileged, has benefited 755 families Ras Al Khaimah and its residents during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The initiative was launched by the Dar Al Ber Society’s Branch in the Emirate.
Ali Abdullah Al Shehi, Director of Dar Al Ber Branch in Ras Al Khaimah, said that they have also launched another event addressed “Eid Feast” for the children in addition to purchases vouchers (coupons) from UAE’s markets in Ras Al Khaimah.
Al Shehi emphasised the society’s keenness to perform its role in implementing humanitarian projects and community development programmes which are in favour of the UAE community.
