The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) distributed 600 food baskets to undeprivileged families in the villages of Al-Arayef, Al-Worah and Al-Bajh across the Dhala governorate of Yemen.
Nabil Al-Afeef, Dhala province deputy, and Mohamed Fadl Ismail, Director of the Dhala Governor’s Office, oversaw the distribution of the food aid. Al-Afeef expressed his appreciation for UAE’s humanitarian and relief support to Yemen’s citizens. He praised ERC’s continued humanitarian relief operations across liberated governorates of Yemen.

The Emirates Red Crescent also distributed relief aid to indigent communities in the Meifa’a Directorate of Yemen, as part of the UAE’s aid efforts in the country.
An ERC team distributed hundreds of food baskets, containing basic necessities to individuals and families in need, in a bid to alleviate their hardships and difficult
economic conditions.
Sultan Al Nuaimi, ERC representative in Shabwa, highlighted the ERC’s objective to continue its humanitarian relief efforts and help improve the lives of Yemeni citizens.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the UAE government and people for their continued support.
