The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) continued its distribution of humanitarian and relief assistance to underprivileged persons in At Tuhayat District of the Hodeidah Governorate.
The UAE aid authority distributed 1,000 food baskets, benefiting some 7,000 residents of At Tuhayat.
The move comes in line with the UAE’s aid efforts to support Yemeni citizens, and relieve them from their hardships experienced as a result of the Iran-back Houthi militia actions.
The ERC also provided diesel fuel to support the functioning of water pump generators so that residents can access potable water.
At Tuhayat residents expressed their tha-nks and appreciation for the aid received.
The ERC also distributed on Tuesday, 2,000 food baskets to the people of Al Anad in the Lahej Governorate of Yemen.
The move is in line with the aid authority’s effort to provide relief aid to Yemeni citizens.
Balhaj Al Radfani, ERC representative, assured that the UAE aid authority’s humanitarian relief will continue to reach individuals in need.
The beneficiaries expressed their thanks and appreciation for the aid received.
