A delegation led by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Wat-er Authority (Dewa), visited Huawei, a leading global Information and Communications Technology (ICT) company, in Shanghai, China.
The visit aimed to enhance mutual relationships and share best practices and experiences in the fields of innovation, disruptive technologies, smart networks, digital transformation, automation, cloud platforms, and artificial intelligence (AI).
In line with the Smart Dubai initiative launched by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai the happiest and smartest city in the world, Al Tayer signed an MoU with Guo Ping, to build a partnership that achieves the strategic objectives of both parties; including the co-creation of digital services, co-marketing of digital products in the UAE and around the world, and the co-sharing of the value crea-ted from these businesses enabled services.
