An Arab woman who was confirmed 38 weeks’ pregnancy, diagnosed with new corona virus, who is undergoing treatment at Saudi German Hospital Dubai (SGH-Dubai), gave birth through caesarian section in the designated
operation (OT).
This is the first lower segment caesarean section (LSCS) done on a Covid 19 patient in Dubai (To be cross checked)

Both mother and baby are in good condition. Baby was isolated in NICU immediately after the delivery. The health of both mother and baby are in good condition informed Dr Louay and Dr Khalid, who led the medical team for the delivery.
The mother was admitted at Saudi German Hospital after she tested positive for the virus and she was quarantined and under treatment and close monitoring by the medical team to ensure mother and baby are safe
