ADM inks infrastructure deals with developers

Saif Badr Al Qubaisi, General Manager of Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM), has signed two agreements with property devel- opers. The first relates to constructing a community market in Mohammed bin Zayed City and the other covers the construction of a service station
for residential districts at Al Shawamekh city.
Naji Hasan Al Harthi signed for Tristar Engineering and Construction Company, which has been awarded the contract to construct the community market project. Salim Mohammed Mubarak Al Mansouri signed for Florida Property Development Company, which will undertake the construction of a service station for residential districts at Al Shawamekh.
“These two projects are part of a full package of integrated projects and service facilities the municipality is intending to undertake in implementation of the vision of Abu Dhabi government for bolstering cooperation with private sector. The projects will also step up the development drive and add to the new projects needed for delivering modern services to the community at world-class standards,” said Al Qubaisi.
The community market will be constructed at Sector Z-23, Mohammed bin Zayed City, and span an area of 23,316 square metres. The floor area will be 13,989 square metres and the construction cost is estimated at AED36 million.
The service station to be constructed at Al Shawamekh city is part of the service stations at residential areas that cover the mainland. The project will be developed and operated with the private sector and offer a diverse cast of maintenance services that cover carpentry, repair services for household appliances, plumbing, electricity and air conditioning services, tire and auto parts trading, car repair and washing services, and many other services.
