The Department of Economic Development’s Competitiveness Office of Abu Dhabi (COAD) held a coordination meeting for the Steering Committee on the ‘Doing Business In the Emirates of Abu Dhabi’ report, which comprises representatives of relevant government entities in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting covered the latest updates on the proposed initiatives and reviewed efforts made by competent bodies to facilitate doing business in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and how to address the challenges that face these departments as they try to implement initiatives and projects, and discussed possible solutions.
Khalifa bin Salem Al Mansouri, ADDED’s Acting Under-Secretary, stressed the significant role of the Steering Committee which is entrusted with the preparation of the Doing Business Report by monitoring all improvement initiatives to develop the business environment in the emirate, thus contributing to the competitiveness of the business sector and enhancing the
role of ADDED’s Abu Dhabi Business Centre, ADBC, in providing an attractive business environment for businessmen and investors.
