Strata, the advanced composite aerostructures manufacturing company, wholly owned by Mubadala Development Company, and Aciturri Aeronautica, a tier 1 supplier for aeronautic industry OEM’s, signed an MoU to collaborate on contributing to the advancement of the global aerospace sector by strengthening vital supply chain capabilities and bilateral ties between Spain and the United Arab Emirates. The MoU was signed at the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit, GMIS 2017, by Badr Al Olama, CEO of Strata, and Gines Clemente Ortiz, CEO of Aciturri.
Both companies will leverage their strengths in technology, human capital and existing knowledge of aero-structures to advance their competitive advantage within one of most high-tech and innovative sectors in the world. The potential partnership will also explore the viability of new commercial capabilities and the possible establishment of a new facility located overseas.
