Work on AED107mn Delma School project on schedule: Musanada

Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) announced that work is progressing as scheduled on the Delma School Project, to be eventually handed over to Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC).
This forms part of Musanada’s contribution to achieve the objectives of Abu Dhabi Plan, enhancing the development of a promising generation to engage in serving the nation and the community, and enabling students by sharpening their skills and capabilities to enhance the innovation system and culture.
“The execution of this project demonstrates how Musanada is keen on realising the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and implementing the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, delivering project that provide a stimulating educational environment to students to unlock their full potentials and competencies and to focus on investing in future generations as they represent the most important element to continue the development and prosperity process across all fields,” stated Suwaidan Rashed Al Dhaheri, Musanada’s Acting CEO.
“The AED107 million project, which will conclude Phase 6 of the Abu Dhabi future schools construction programme, aims to keep pace with the development of the educational sector infrastructure and the improvements introduced to curricula and teaching approaches, enhancing the outreach to our students across all the regions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Mohamed Salem Al Dhaheri, Executive Director of ADEC’s School Operations Sector, commented, “The school environment is an important element in supporting the educational development process. ADEC is committed to the development of a clear vision of school building designs in line with latest international building principles and standards.”
The school being constructed at Delma Island will serve as a KG and C1 school, and will consist of the main building, comprising 28 classrooms, a library, prayer room, multipurpose hall, administration offices, cafeteria, equipped labs and music classrooms. The school will accommodate 625 C1 students and 160 KG students.
