Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority, inaugurated the plant of Petroleum Specialities (FZE), a specialised manufacturer of industrial white oils, in the Hamriyah Free Zone. The new plant is the first completely-owned subsidiary of its parent company, Apar Industries Limited, outside India.
The opening ceremony was attended by Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of the Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA); Kushal Desai, Chairman and Managing Director of Apar Industries; and Sanjay Abhyankar, Vice President of Sales, as well as a number of government officials, investors, businessmen and senior directors from the HFZA and the company. Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan walked into many of the departments and sections of the 30,000 square-metre, fully-automated plant. During the tour, Al Qasimi and the chief guests were briefed on its phases of production.
Al Mazrouei said that the FZE plant will have a prestigious status in the Hamriyah Free Zone, as it is a subsidiary of India’s largest, and one of the world’s top manufacturers of special types of industrial oil.
