Around 40 exhibitors are to participate in the forthcoming 5th edition of the Ajman Education and Training
Exhibition (AETEX).
Under the banner, “Towards a New Era of Innovated Education”, the event is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, and is organised by the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) from February 20-22 at the Emirates Hospitality Centre, Al Jarf, Ajman.
AETEX establishes direct links between students and academicians, and local and international educational institutions. It also aims to enhance communication, cooperation and partnerships between the exhibitors. Details of the event were announced at a press conference earlier, which was attended by Naser Al Dhafri, Executive Director of Planning and Members Support and Head of the Organising Committee, Eman Al Shamsi, Director of CSR and Members Support Department at ACCI, along with representatives of the exhibition sponsors. Al Dhafri said that AETEX has become one of the country’s and the region’s major educational events, as well as the most important key link between private educational institutions and students. It highlights the quality of services offered to improve the education
sector in the UAE.
Al Dhafri said that the Ajman Ruler’s support of AETEX since its inception reflects his interest in the education sector and his keenness on building promising generations armed with knowledge to continue the nation’s renaissance.
“Ajman has become a major educational destination in UAE and GCC,” Al Dhafri said. He also added that the committee is keen on enhancing communication between education zones in northern emirates, and exhibitors need to advise students on the academic disciplines available, thus helping them choose the career most suitable for both themselves and the UAE labour market needs.
