Charity doctors treat cardiac patients in Abu Dhabi

A group of senior UAE cardiac surgeons, volunteering with the Charity Doctors Programme, treated hundreds of workers from different countries in Abu Dhabi who suffer from a variety of heart conditions, as part of the first campaign under the Zayed Giving Initiative.
Within the framework of a volunteering initiative called “Volunteering One Hour of Giving”, and considered to be the first of its kind, the campaign will follow the directives of the UAE leadership for 2017 during the “Year of Giving”. It is also part of a joint initiative between the Zayed Giving Initiative, the Saudi- German Hospital, Dar Al Ber Society and the UAE Medications Bank, in a bid to use mobile clinics and mobile hospitals as a model partnership between public, private and non-profit organisations to fulfil their
social responsibilities.
