SteelFab 2017 to attract 317 global exhibitors

Expo Centre Sharjah announced that the number of exhibitors participating in the 13th SteelFab Middle East 2017 Exhibition, the leading annual event in the steel and iron industry, has surpassed 317 coming from 28 countries.
SteelFab 2017 is organised and hosted by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). The event will open its doors for visitors from January 16-19, with over 900 national and international brands from 111 Emirati companies and 206 foreign companies in participation, and an exhibiting area exceeding 26,000 square meters.
Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Center Sharjah, stated that SteelFab Middle East is the leading and largest exhibition in the region specialised in steel fabrication and heavy industries.
Al Midfa noted that the exhibition covers surface engineering specialties and technologies, including material handling. It will also include seminars and discussion boards on modern technologies and applications that serve this important industry, especially in fields of welding, cutting, mechanical equipment, spare parts, pipelines, and technologies of resisting damage.
Further, Al Midfa pointed out that this year’s exhibition is privileged by the 2nd edition of “Fasteners World Middle East”, taking up an entire pavilion at the exhibition for fixing and fastening technologies. The show will also welcome a large group of participants from the UAE and around the world, showcasing their latest inventions and technologies in the sector. This wide-spread participation comes amid speculations of maintained economic growth and mega projects in the region over the coming years.
Al Midfa invited all industrialists, businessmen and investors to attend the exhibition and benefit from the golden opportunities it presents to make partnerships, build relationships, and to be introduced to the most advanced technologies. The event gathers pioneering companies on the regional and international levels in field of iron and metal industries from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, China, India, Pakistan, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Austria, the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and Canada.
