These will include geophysical, geotechnical and topographic studies.
The committee also adopted the second package of the integral land car park project in the island of Abu Dhabi.

The project will contribute to achieving the emirate’s plan to provide an integral land transport service in order to maintain external roads networks and guarantee traffic safety. This will be done by maintaining, restoring and developing roads networks and all relevant installations.

This will include upgrading the current two-lane road into a three-lane road in each direction, turning the current U-turns into intersections with traffic lights and establishing a new inlet and outlet to the area at a cost of AED42 million.

The project is expected to promote productivity and self-employment among the Emirati families, making use of the technical and professional capabilities of the family members. It will also revive traditional crafts and heritage industries, and enhance their competitiveness. This is part of the emirate’s programme for social development, aimed at guaranteeing a decent life for the population and forming a cultured community that preserves its heritage and values.
