A new regional conference devoted to exploring the growing role of the Middle East as the world’s largest producer of sulphur is to take place in the UAE capital in February 2017. Hosted by CRU Events – a subsidiary of the business intelligence company, CRU Group, that focuses on the global metals, mining and fertilizer industries – the inaugural conference will provide a unique platform to showcase the importance of sulphur as a vital commodity and provide thorough analysis of the entire sulphur value chain.
CRU’s Middle East Sulphur Conference, which will be held at Jumeriah at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi from February 12-16, 2017 is sponsored by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and is aligned with the UAE Government’s vision to create new value for sulphur to support the continued diversification of the nation into a thriving knowledge based economy.
The fully interactive event will bring together an international audience of sulphur professionals across both commercial and technical divisions. Attendees are expected to include suppliers, producers, researchers and academics, operators and technical staff and technology providers. The event will also prove invaluable to professionals working in related industries including logistics, distribution, engineering and also specialised media outlets. The event will feature a selection of presentations, workshops, training and roundtable discussions. The commercial and technical programmes will feature world-leading industry experts who will also be on hand to share their experiences and insights on market dynamics, technical developments, current trends; and supply and demand forecasts. Attendees will also be able to visit a world-class exhibition showcasing the most innovative technologies used in the industry.
