In a bid to ensure optimum participation in the third
Emirates Energy Award (EEA) 2017, organised under the patronage of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, under the theme “Innovative Solutions for Clean Energy”, Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE) held a press conference in Doha on Monday to help promote the award to representatives from public and private sector companies, colleges, universities and research centres.
“The award aims to develop innovative insights and ideal practices to create new methods and ways to achieve sustainable growth. Qatar is renowned for its remarkable expertise in the energy sector in general and renewable energy in particular. Hence, we decided to promote the award so that we can encourage companies and individuals to display their projects and facilitate the exchange of expertise in these fields,†said Ahmad Buti Al Muhairbi, Secretary-General of DSCE and Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of EEA.
