Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) announced its participation in the UAE Innovation Week 2016, as a supporting sponsor of the Tourism Innovation and Transformation Forum, held in Dubai under the patronage of Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy.
The participation is in line with the vision of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to promote government work and enhance competiveness to be at par with the most innovative governments around the world.
ATDD presented on its platform the Policy Guide and Smart Training project to share its experiences in the field of innovation with the public, as well as presenting a special website ‘map of happiness’ showing the pinned locations of happy people in the UAE.
The ATDD set up a committee and launched a policy guide and smart training project that coincides with the UAE Innovation Week, being held from 20th to 26th November.
The policy guide initiative aims to introduce the specialised fields, goals and strategic plan of the department to the employees and stakeholders through a trusted electronic informative source, which is easily accessible.
Faisal Al Nuaimi, General Manager of ATDD, said that the department is keen to support and implement innovation and creativity initiatives in various sectors, and that all the employees and work team are committed to implement the national strategy of the UAE in the field of innovation policy.
