The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) received a string of brilliant ideas thanks to the initiative launched by Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, entitled, ‘Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis Initiative’.
4,077 ideas and improvement observations have been received so far, and 4,040 cases have been addressed, of which 3,447 ideas and 593 development observations have been signed off in a span of just 4 business days instead of 10 days targeted by the Executive Council.
Ahmed Mahboub, Director of Customer Service at RTA’s Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector, said, “The RTA follows up and pays utmost attention to all the ideas and improvement observations received since the launch of the initiative in order to bring happiness to people according to the 3rd and 8th RTA’s strategic goals. This process is designed to measure up to the intentions of our prudent government, as signing off ideas and observations in 4 business days instead of 10 reflects the RTA’s keenness through its internal team to expedite the follow-up process of the ideas received from the Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis.”
“RTA follows up all ideas and observations received from the Majlis, and a dedicated team examines them all to ascertain which would contribute to upgrading RTA’s services. We spare no effort in communicating with our customers so as to identify their aspirations and needs,” he explained.
“The ultimate goal is to achieve the objectives of our prudent government in leveraging government performance and bringing it to world-class standards in serving customers and bringing happiness to people,” Mahboub concluded.
